Dr. Ramesh Chand is the Founder and Chief Director of Dr. Ramesh Superspeciality Eye & Laser Centre, Ludhiana.  He completed his MBBS and MD in Ophthalmology from Government Medical College, Patiala. With over 35 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, he has dedicated his career to cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and LASIK refractive surgery.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Ramesh Chand has performed more than 1,00,000 cataract surgeries and over 5,000 corneal transplants. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to eye care, the Punjab Government awarded him the civilian honour  Parman Patra  in 2005.

As Founder Director, Dr. Ramesh Chand has built a superspeciality eye care centre that brings together expert subspeciality services including retina, cornea, glaucoma, paediatric ophthalmology, refractive surgery, and anaesthesiology  under one roof in Ludhiana.
