Dr. Ajay Kumar Kapoor is a Senior Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon at Dr. Ramesh Superspeciality Eye & Laser Centre, Ludhiana. He completed his MBBS from Punjabi University in 1993 and his MS in Ophthalmology from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in 1999.

Dr. Kapoor pursued fellowship training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 2000, followed by a second fellowship at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad in 2004  a globally recognised centre of excellence in eye care.

At Dr. Ramesh Eye Centre, Dr. Kapoor specialises in the surgical and medical management of retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular disorders, vitrectomy procedures, laser treatments for the retina, and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).
