Dr. Akarshan Mehta is a Phaco-Refractive Surgeon at Dr. Ramesh Superspeciality Eye & Laser Centre, Ludhiana. He completed his MBBS from M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana, Haryana, and his MS in Ophthalmology from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai.

Following his postgraduation, Dr. Akarshan underwent specialised phacoemulsification training at Uma Eye Clinic, Chennai; Dhir Eye Hospital, Bhiwani; and Nandadeep Eye Hospital, Sangli. He completed his refractive surgery training at Netradhama Eye Hospital, Bangalore. To date, he has performed over 5,000 successful surgeries.
